Food to Cook: I can cook the basics: chili, chicken
soup, meatloaf, various pastas. Although I love to eat it,
I am the only male on the planet who is bad at bar-b-queing.
Favorite Music: I love music so much, I could list
hundreds of artists... but in pop music my all-time faves
are probably Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder and Leon Russell...
all composers and multi-instrumentalists. In jazz, I really
like 1950's "Cool", such as Art Pepper, Chet Baker, Miles,
Bob Brookmeyer. I also like bluegrass and old-time country
music, such as Doc Watson, Ricky Skaggs, Vassar Clements,
The Johnson Boys, etc.
Design Idol: Adolph Loos-Viennese architect and writer
from the 1920's
Prior Employment: Prior to my professional career
I was a hardware store clerk, a drug store delivery driver,
a busboy, a bookstore clerk, a truck driver for a HVAC contractor
and a dockhand at a tire warehouse, a groundskeeper, gym
supervisor, Little League umpire, soccer referee, and an
assistant waiter. Whew!
What inspires me: My family.
