The Environments Group is pleased to announce that we
have merged with Perkins+Will.
Since 1991, we have poured our heart and soul into our
company, building it into the largest stand-alone interior
design firm in Chicago. We have survived tough times together,
celebrated many good times, and watched our “family” blossom.
So it is with great excitement, and of course a little
sadness, that we announce this new chapter in our design
heritage.
This quote by author Gail Sheehy sums it up nicely: "If
we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't
really living."
The merger was a natural fit for both companies. The Environments
Group focus and expertise in commercial interiors will
strengthen Perkins+Will’s interior design practice
and enhance the firm’s other practice disciplines.
In turn, Perkins+Will’s national and international
platform affords us the opportunity to better serve our
clients with “on the ground” resources and
a broader range of service offerings. Finally, we share
a common vision and mission as well as a culture of working
hard, playing hard, and always doing so as a team.
Though our name will change, we assure you that the faces
you’ve come to know and rely on won’t. Nor
will the hard work, creative ideas or passion for our craft.
What will be new is expanded expertise, resources, and
opportunities for our clients and staff.
And we have you, our colleagues, clients and friends,
to thank for our success. We look forward to continued
success and celebration of this new venture.
