Crate & Barrel retained The Environments Group to create a flexible, new headquarters that would accommodate the company's phenomenal growth. Knowing that Crate & Barrel's founders are very design-conscious, we were honored to receive the project.

Working closely with a base-building architect, we designed a barrier-free building for Crate & Barrel that accommodates more than 500 corporate employees. The fresh, new workspace is movable and open, enhancing the accessibility of each department and fostering communication among employees. Open, light, and cleanly designed, the new building reflects Crate & Barrel's corporate culture and retail aesthetic.
