Following a merger, Foley & Lardner needed to consolidate its attorneys and support staff into one location. Working in conjunction with Foley's real estate consultant, we provided test fits and building analyses in five Chicago buildings. We launched the real estate search with an in-depth programming study, incorporating our benchmarking data. Programming included interviews and focus groups with Foley's entire workforce. We reviewed the unique worksetting needs of Foley's practice group, including square foot per attorney, attorney to staff ratios and support space requirements. The entire office is designed to provide exceptional flexibility for long-term growth and the ability to change the mix of large and small private offices.
