After ServiceMaster completed a review of its portfolio
of businesses in 2001, the decision was made to sell its
institutional businesses, and refocus the business. The
change necessitated moving into new Midwest headquarters,
establishing a stronger focus on its leading brands, and
the markets that ServiceMaster serves. After an extensive
real estate search, we helped ServiceMaster settle into
a new environment that is filled with light, has a strong
corporate identity and is highly flexible for moves and
changes to come. Since the launch of this project, we
have also been helping ServiceMaster with the analysis
of its real estate holdings in Memphis.
